(CHICAGO) The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) awarded Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP a perfect score on the 2016 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The 100 percent rating also earned the firm the distinction of being named a "Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality." The rating and report is based on an evaluation of Katten's inclusive policies and benefits for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) employees.

"This recognition is further testament to Katten's unwavering commitment to promoting and respecting LGBT inclusion and advancement within the firm," said Katten Chief Diversity Officer Leslie D. Minier.

Katten's LGBT Coalition helps foster an inclusive environment for attorneys and recruits who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender by providing educational and business opportunities for LGBT attorneys and supporting organizations that work toward equal rights for LGBT individuals and families in broader communities. The firm also offers progressive work benefits, including health care, leave and other assistance that extend to same-sex partners.
